TechRanch Entrepreneurial Knowledge (TREK) events are one-hour workshops and seminars, typically held over the lunch hour. Our guest speakers are subject matter experts and are often recognized nationally for their work. We have had more than 25 national venture capital funds present, as well as many attorneys; sales, marketing and business development professionals; HR and operations consultants; leadership development presenters; granting organization and tech transfer offices as well.
TechRanch hosts regular after-hours networking events in Bozeman. These events bring together professionals from the high tech, biotech and clean tech sectors. These informal gatherings often include high ranking government officials (the governor and all three congressional delegates have attended); top MSU researchers and students; local software and biotech executives and staff; professional service providers; investors and TechRanch clients.
TechRanch has a user group to fit everyone's needs -- from Technology Transfer and SaaS to .Net Developers and Game Developers to Creative Marketing and Social Media. Through user groups, businesses gain knowledge from each other and individuals can network with leaders in their specific industry.
ORBIT -- Optimizing Regional Businesses through Internet Technology -- was a series of all-day workshops that were presented across the state in 2010 and 2011. Workshops were presented in Bigfork, Frenchtown, Laurel and Belgrade. ORBIT was designed to provide Montana entrepreneurs with a basic understanding of the tools that are available to effectively establish and maintain a strong online presence.
