CTW Energy will soon demonstrate the ability to produce BQ-9000 certified biodiesel from the formation of algal lipids in green algae. These algae can be grown in broad environmental conditions, including the cold weather climates.  This is possible through cogeneration with waste treatment facilities, landfills and dairy farms. CTW Energy's plant design will allow for easy scalability to meet customer demands and localized use in small and large communities alike.  CTW Energy's unique plant design allows it to have a minimal footprint, allowing for inconspicuous placement within your community.  
Unlike most methods of biodiesel production, using photosynthetic algae does not require current food sources for feedstock or production. Rather than using otherwise nutritious corn to fuel luxurious automobiles, algal-processed biodiesel uses leftover waste to produce a source of green energy.  CTW Energy will custom design and operate a facility that will operate symbiotically with businesses or municipalities to meet local and regional diesel needs, while at the same time clean wastewater, capture and utilize methane for energy, and sequester CO2.  
With the current market and technology, biodiesel is a green alternative to petroleum-based diesel because it offers fuel for approximately $2.50-$3.50 a gallon and is produced by a process that sequesters CO2.  Biodiesel has low NOx emissions and almost no sulfur emissions making it environmentally friendly.  Produced domestically, biodiesel allows consumers to eliminate their dependency on foreign nations and oil companies.  
CTW Energy has the unique vision and skill set to provide its customers with their own BQ-9000 certified biodiesel that will be grown on-site in any climate. The custom facility will sequester CO2, provide certified biodiesel with low emissions, while utilizing excess energy and wastewater to minimize the energy needs of the process.
